Christopher George stands at attention along with the rest of the Gold and Blue crews of the USS Florida during the official crew splitting ceremony for the submarine at the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay in Kings Bay, Georgia, Friday, December 15, 2006. All U.S. Navy submarines have two alternating crews and each of the 130 sailors of the U.S.S. FloridaÕs Gold and Blue crew will man the guided missile submarine in turn to maximize itÕs operational time in the field.
