CHRIS VIOLA/The Times-Union--03/18/08 -- With his face painted with marsh mud from a previous science exercise Oglethorpe Point Elementary School fifth grader Kyle Mowatt, 10 samples a piece of an edible plant found in the marsh around Jekyll Island, Georgia called as sea pickle, Tuesday, March 18, 2008. The 5th grade class of the school visited the island for a two day field trip to the Jekyll island 4H Center to learn about the ecology of south east Georgia. Mowatt and his classmates found the sea pickle to be a bit to salty for their taste. (The Florida Times-Union, Chris Viola)
